Offensive Transition
Igualada initiates a solid transition with players positioned strategically. Noia's defence is set, engaging in one-on-one matchups. As Marc Rouze (Igulada N7) moves toward the ball, Aleix Marimon (Igualada N74) and Roger Bars (Igualada N22) occupy their lanes effectively.
Space
Rouze keeps skating while Marimon kind of blocks, it is not a proper block but the movement is quite similar. Xavi Costa (Noia N6) is defending Marimon but instead of keeping skating he decides to lounge into Rouze when he is approaching Marimon. Rouze passes the ball to a completely free Marimon
Execution
Igualada is now playing 2 vs 1. At this point Marimon approaches Noia’s penalty box top corner loading a shot. Xavi Rovira (Noia N74) is the defender and he is defending Bars. As soon as Rovira sees Marimon loading a shot he changes the defender trying to cover the shot. Which opened the space for a clear pass to Bars who scored on an almost empty cage.
