The structure of this analysis is going to be a little different than usual. We are going to focus on how two players get rid of their defenders. That is going to be our main focus.
Deep floor
When I talk about the deep floor, I mean when a player gets the ball at 0 and skates next to the wall. The main goal is to move the ball to 7, making the defence feel uncomfortable. Don’t forget about trying to go into the goalie. It is actually the key; if you are dangerous, the defence will follow you. If you are just skating around, it is not going to work at all. This is exactly what Fabri (Liceo Nº5) is doing. With Fabri, there is another thing. Fabri is a really technical player; that is the reason Humberto Mendes (Noia Nº32) lunges into Fabri when he tries to skate behind the cage.
Holding the ball
Despite Humberto’s lunging, Fabri is able to keep the ball. Fabri loses control of the ball, so another 2 defenders are behind the cage to get the ball back. Fabri is attracting 3 players behind the cage. After this, he is able to dribble past two defenders when he barely has control of the ball.
