How to change the course of a game

How to change the course of a game

Today we are rewatching last week’s analysis. Not much introduction needed

Spread the roller hockey word

As a reminder, Follow this steps:

  1. Take a look at the video:
  2. Read and think about the analysis.
  3. Match the analysis and the video. Min All,

You cannot imagine how important it is to analyse the opposition.

Especially when we are talking about the opposition's goalkeeper.

I think you cannot.

I couldn’t either.  I did it last year and it worked really well. With a bit of impostor syndrome to be honest.

What we are seeing today is just another level. It Changed the course of a game, it changed a champions 1/4 final. Congratulations to the one that did the analysis. I’m so sorry for not knowing who you are.

As I mentioned before I’m not a huge fan of the Italian goalkeepers style. It is too risky, extremely risky.

Probably that is the reason why there are only a few goalies that stand out of the blue and Sgaria is one of them.

I’m confident enough to say that is part of Trissino’s success this season in Italy, adding to the equation a leader like Cocco, and two killers, Jordi Mendez and Alvarinho.

Let’s see what I’m talking about. First Noia goal, it is in the second half and restores the scoreboard setting 1-1.

After a first half being vertical, Noia finds out the weak point. After a perfect transition, Jordi Bargallo executes looking for the armpit scoring the first goal.

For the second goal, block & roll. I’m not too sure if it is legal but that is another topic. The goal of the block & roll is perfect. It is really easy to see a clear path on the side.

Salvado looks for the same spot as Bargallo, the armpit. Scoring the second goal.

2 goals, same weakness. Someone did a good job.

The armpit is a common weakness on goalies. It doesn’t matter which style they use, if it is based on the main or knee down or if it is based on the L.

We can go deeper on this concepts another time
